Easy Steps for Recording a Video of a Home or Land

1. Kindly devote only 4 minutes time to read the below guidelines.
2. High quality recordings with a perfect 360-degree view (round about or turn around where you stand) are ideal for practical Vastu analysis of your properties.
3. As the owner or a potential buyer, you know everything of the property and where rooms and doors are in the property, but others might not. With this in mind, please provide a detailed video to help explain, so that I can able to understand Vasthu of the home.
4. Opt for video recording during Daylight hours to ensure optimal visibility.
5. Property's Neighborhood information is most important, hence, first cover the outside of the building.
6. Verbally state the house's directional orientation in the video for easy comprehension, avoid giving voice, if you have any barriers to speak outside.
Step by Step Guidelines Of House Video Recording
- First, record the exterior surroundings of the house. Stand in front of the house main entrance door and turn around to cover 360 degrees. For example: If yours is a East facing house, then stand in front of the house, which means you are facing towards West direction.
- In continuation of the above point, first cover the West direction, and move towards the North direction, followed by the east and thereafter the South direction and move towards the west, i.e., starting point of the video.
- Once you completed taking the front view of the home, then move to Southeast direction, South and Southwest direction, West, Northwest, North, Northeast and back to East. This way, you cover the full 360-degree view of your property exterior. This exterior video coverage process take you only maximum 2 minutes time. If you are unable to reach the backyard, then explain in the video or email.
- After completion of the exteriror, then enter into home, the video should be continued. Slowly continue cover every room of the home, maximum try to cover 360° view of all rooms.
- If you feel that the video is too much lengthy, then one video for external coverage and another video for internal home coverage. If you wish to take 3 videos like exterior, ground floor and first floor, then,you should have to start the first floor video from Staircase starting point only, this is important.
- Start covering the upstairs or upper floor with the same technique. Move slowly and cover 360° all the way, otherwise, it is difficult to understand the directions of your home vastu.
Only Landscape Mode Videos are Considered
Landscape mode videos are wider compared to portrait view. They provide detailed views of each corner and direction at a stretch, minimizing transitions and aiding in better comprehension of the structure. Kindly check the image attached to understand the difference between landscape and portrait modes.
Portrait View Videos May Not Help
Videos shot in portrait mode aren't good to understand the exact facts of the property. They don't show everything because they're too narrow. Let's "use landscape mode" when recording videos to save time and avoid needing to do it again. If the video isn't easy to see or understand, I'll ask for a new one. I always want the best quality, and I'm sure you do too.
Note:
1. Exteriors should always be captured in landscape mode.
2. You can choose either portrait mode or landscape mode to record the interiors.
3. Avoid switching between LandScape mode and Portrat mode, while shooting. It causes confusion and difficulty. 100% I will ask another video if you switch modes.
4. Avoid shooting the videos in "multiple bits". Cover the entire property in one single video or two videos.
5. Make sure the video is smooth without disturbances or any trembling. Requesting you first check your video before sending it to me.
How to Record a Video of a "Plot"
1. Stand in front of the plot, cover 360° (Turn around)
2. Enter into the plot, stand in center and take 360° and move to the backyard area of the plot and again take 360°.
3. If there is any street focus to the plot then cover that street focus too, further go to the street focus and shoot the plot again.
5. Covering 360 degrees helps me understand all directions to estimate the Vaastu better. If possible please record your voice along with the video to explain the directions and surroundings.
How to Send Your Recorded Videos?
This is very simple process. Upload your recorded video in your google drive and email the folder link. This is very easy process. Open Google.com and type "Google Drive" and login with your email and Upload your video and send that link. Believe me, this is very simple process.
Is the Resident's Privacy Protected?
I have been a Vastu consultant since 1992 and this website started in the year 2003. I never store or use my client's data in any way, which is why I haven't received a single complaint in my entire career. Rest assured, your privacy is 100% guaranteed.
Is SubhaVaastu Store Our Videos?
I never download any videos, if I downloaded any video and I never store a single video. It is impossible to store the videos on our laptops. No one can store the videos on their systems. It occupies a large space.
What Happens if Our Family Members Captured in Video Recording?
As previously stated, I never retain, distribute, or allow others to view any videos from my client residents. My focus is solely on the Vastu of the house or the entire plot Vastu position, and not on any personal details. A majority of my client residents choose to film themselves to better illustrate the layout of their property. For instance, wife might film while husband describes the property, or vice versa. Each of my client residents aware of my strict commitment to confidentiality.
Is Our Videos Uploaded on Your Website?
I highly value the privacy of my respected client residents, prioritizing the safeguarding of their personal data above all. As a testament to this commitment, I assure you that no personal details or video recordings are ever uploaded or shared with anyone. Do You Upload Our Videos on YouTube?
I am not active on any social media platforms. My last update on YouTube was in 2007. I don't share, upload, or publish my client's information or videos on YouTube or any social media platforms. Protecting my client residents information is my top priority. I hate social media. It steals our valuable time without our knowledge.
Note:
Make sure to keep your video by saving a copy for yourself. Since we don't keep or save any videos on our end, you won't be able to get them back from us.

I have consulted Suresh Garu during December 2014 during the process of buying a house in Texas, USA.
