A Memorable Experience:

In 2014, we visited a property in Ahmedabad. The client, busy at the time, forgot to pay the consultation fee. Three months later, upon realizing the oversight, they not only settled the fee but doubled it. Surprised, we contacted them to clarify, and their response was heartfelt: "Sureshji, you traveled a long distance, and we overlooked your payment. We felt guilty, so we decided to pay extra." પોતાના સપનાનું ઘર બાંધીને તેમાં રહેવાની મનોકામના સૌ કોઈની હોય છે. ઈચ્છિત જગ્યાએ ઓફિસ કે ફેક્ટરી શરૂ કરીને જીવનમાં ખૂબ જ પ્રગતિ કરવાનું લક્ષ્ય દરેકનું હોય છે. છતાં પણ, એવા સંખ્યાબંધ કિસ્સા સામે આવે છે જેમાં કોઈ વ્યક્તિ પોતાના ઘરમાં સુખ-ચેનથી રહી શકતી નથી અથવા તો ધંધામાં ક્યારેય પ્રગતિ દેખાતી નથી. આ તમામ સમસ્યાઓના મૂળમાં હોય છે તે જગ્યાએ રહેલો વાસ્તુદોષ. વાસ્તુ મૂળરૂપે વસ્તુ અર્થાત્ પદાર્થ કે ભવન શબ્દ પરથી આવ્યો છે અને વાસ્તુશાસ્ત્રનો અર્થ છે તે પદાર્થ કે ભવનને લગતું શાસ્ત્ર. અર્થાત્ જો ભારતીય સંસ્કૃતિમાં વેદિક સિદ્ધાંતોમાં દર્શાવ્યા અનુસાર વાસ્તુ વિજ્ઞાનને અનુલક્ષીને તે ભવનનું નિર્માણ કરવામાં આવે તો ત્યાં રહેનારી વ્યક્તિની ચોક્કસ પ્રગતિ શક્ય છે. પ્રાચીનકાળમાં ઘરનું બાંધકામ કરવા માટે વાસ્તુના નિયમોને ધ્યાનમાં લેવાતા હતા પરંતુ કાળક્રમે તેનો વ્યાપ વધતો ગયો અને લોકોમાં આવેલી જાગૃતિના કારણે વર્તમાન સમયમાં કોઈપણ પ્રકારના બાંધકામમાં વાસ્તુના નિયમો અનુસરવામાં આવે છે. જે પ્રકારે મકાનનું યોગ્ય વાસ્તુ તમને પ્રગતિના પંથે આગળ વધારીને સફળતાના શિખરે પહોંચાડે છે તે જ પ્રકારે વાસ્તુદોષ ત્યાં રહેનાર વ્યક્તિના પતનનું કારણ પણ બની શકે છે. કોઈપણ જગ્યાએ બાંધકામ અથવા તેની અંદર રાખવામાં આવતી વિવિધ ચીજવસ્તુઓ માટે એક ચોક્કસ વાસ્તુ નિયમ હોય છે અને જો તેને અનુસરવામાં આ આવે તો તેને વાસ્તુદોષ કહેવામાં આવે છે. આવા જ વાસ્તુદોષ દૂર કરવાથી જે-તે જગ્યાએ પવિત્ર અને શુભ ઉર્જા ઉત્પન કરીને જીવનમાં સકારાત્મકતા લાવી શકાય છે. કેટલાક સંજોગોમાં જો બાંધકામમાં ફેરફાર કરીને વાસ્તુદોષ દૂર કરવો શક્ય ના હોય તો કેટલાક વૈકલ્પિક ઉકેલો દ્વારા પણ તેનું નિરાકરણ શક્ય છે. જોકે, આ માટે વાસ્તુ વિજ્ઞાનમાં કોઈ તજજ્ઞ વ્યક્તિ પાસેથી સલાહ લઈને આગળ વધવું હિતકારી છે.

જો ઘરનું બાંધકામ વાસ્તુ અનુસાર ના થયેલું હોય તો, તેના પરિણામરૂપે તે ઘરમાં રહેલા લોકો વચ્ચે એકતાની લાગણી ઓછી રહે છે. તેના કારણે તેઓ એકબીજાના કટ્ટર દુશ્મન પણ બની શકે છે. જેનો કોઈ સંદર્ભ જ ના હોય તેવી નાની નાની બાબતોના કારણે અજંપો થવો, દેવું થઈ જવું, સંતાન પ્રાપ્તિ ના થવી અથવા સંતાનોને હંમેશા બીમારી રહેવી, શિક્ષણમાં તેમને અપેક્ષિત પરિણામ ના આવવું, ધંધામાં નુકસાન થવું, કોર્ટ-કેચરીના ચક્કર થવા, વિવાદો અને ઝઘડા થવા, નામ અને ખ્યાતિ ખંડિત થવા, સ્વાસ્થ્યની સમસ્યાઓ થવી, ઉપરીઓ સાથે સંબંધોમાં તણાવ અથવા મુશ્કેલી થવી, અસુરક્ષાની ભય રહેવો, પરિવારમાં ઝઘડા થવા, છૂટાછેડા, મિલકતને લગતા વિવાદો થવા વગેરે સમસ્યાઓ થઈ શકે છે. સામાન્યપણે આવી સમસ્યાઓ વાસ્તુદોષ દૂર કરીને તેનો ઉકેલ લાવી શકાય છે.

કેટલાક વાસ્તુ સૂચનો: 

1. ઉત્તર-પૂર્વનો પ્લોટ ખરીદવાથી તબક્કાવાર વિકાસ થાય છે અને સદાકાળ શાંતિનો અહેસાસ થાય છે.
2. દક્ષિણ-પૂર્વ બ્લૉકનું ઘર સામાન્યપણે તેમાં રહેતી વ્યક્તિમાં અશાંતિ લાવે છે. કૃપા કરીને નોંધી લેશો કે તમામ દક્ષિણ-પૂર્વ મકાનો ખરાબ માનવામાં આવતા નથી.
3. જે ઘરમાં દક્ષિણ-પશ્ચિમ દિશામાં પાણીની ટાંકી હોય અથવા જળસંગ્રહ થતો હોય તે ખરીદવું નહીં.
4. જે ઘર નદીની દક્ષિણ દિશા તરફ હોય તે ખરીદવું નહીં.
5. જે ઘરની દક્ષિણ દિશા તરફ જળાશય હોય તે ઘર ખરીદવું નહીં.
6. જો પશ્ચિમ દિશા તરફ પર્વત અથવા ટેકરીઓ હોય તો, તેવો પ્લોટ શુભ માનવામાં આવે છે.
7. જો પૂર્વ દિશા તરફ પર્વતો હોય તો, તેવો પ્લોટ ખરીદવા માટે બહેતર માનવામાં આવતો નથી.
8. જો દક્ષિણ દિશા તરફ પર્વતો હોય તો, તે પ્લોટ સારો ગણાય છે.
9. દક્ષિણ-પશ્ચિમ દિશા તરફ પર્વતો હોય તેવો પ્લોટ ખૂબ જ સારો ગણાય છે. તે ખરીદી શકો છો.
10. જો પ્લોટની દક્ષિણ, પશ્ચિમ અને ઉત્તર દિશા તરફ રસ્તો હોય તો, તે ખરીદવો નહીં.
11. જો પ્લોટની દક્ષિણ, પશ્ચિમ અને પૂર્વ દિશા તરફ રસ્તો હોય તો, તે ખરીદવો નહીં.
12. જો પ્લોટની દક્ષિણ, ઉત્તર અને પૂર્વ દિશા તરફ રસ્તો હોય તો, તેને સારો માનવામાં આવે છે.
13. જો પ્લોટની પશ્ચિમ, ઉત્તર અને પૂર્વ દિશા તરફ રસ્તો હોય તો, તેને સારો માનવામાં આવે છે.
14. સામાન્યપણે, પ્લોટની ચારબાજુએ રસ્તો હોય તે શ્રેષ્ઠ માનવામાં આવે છે. પરંતુ તજજ્ઞની યોગ્ય સલાહ લઈને આગળ વધવું.

પૂજા ખંડ:

પ્રાચીન સમયમાં, એક વિશાળ ઓરડાને પૂજા ખંડ તરીકે રાખવામાં આવતો હતો અને ઘરના દરેક સભ્યો ત્યાં પ્રાર્થના સમયે ભેગા થતા હતા. તબક્કાવાર આ પ્રકારના બાંધકામમાં ફેરફાર થતો ગયો. પ્રાચીન આદ્યદૃશ્ટાઓએ પૂજા ખંડ તરીકે ઉત્તર-પૂર્વ ખૂણાને અનામત રાખ્યો છે.

શા માટે ઉત્તર-પૂર્વમાં પૂજા ખંડ હોવો જોઈએ, બીજે ક્યાંય કેમ નહીં? ઉત્તર-પૂર્વ બાજુએ શક્ય હોય એટલો ઓછો ભાર રાખવામાં આવે છે (અર્થાત્ કોઈ ફર્નિચર વગેરે રાખવામાં આવતું નથી). પૂજાની જરૂરિયાતો સિવાય, બાકી કોઈપણ પ્રકારનો ભાર પૂજા ખંડમાં ટાળી શકાય છે. પૂજાનો ખંડ દક્ષિણ-પશ્ચિમ દિશાના ઓરડા સિવાય ગમે ત્યાં રાખી શકાય છે. જો પૂજા ખંડ દક્ષિણ-પશ્ચિમ દિશામાં હોય તો, ત્યાં કોઈપણ પ્રકારનું ફર્નિચર ના હોવું જોઈએ અને આ પ્રકારે દક્ષિણ-પશ્ચિમ દિશા પરથી ભાર ઓછો કરી શકાય છે. આ કારણ જ પૂજાનો ખંડ દક્ષિણ-પશ્ચિમ દિશામાં ના રાખવાની ભલામણ કરવામાં આવે છે.

જો પૂર્વ અથવા પશ્ચિમ દિશામાં મોં રાખીને પૂજા કરી શકાય તો તે સૌથી શ્રેષ્ઠ માનવામાં આવે છે. જો શક્ય હોય તો, પૂજા માટે અલગ રૂમ રાખવાની ભલામણ કરવામાં આવે છે.

જોકે, પૂર્વ દિશામાં બહુમાળી બાંધકામ જેવા કોઈપણ પ્લેટફોર્મને પૂજા મંદિર તરીકે રાખવું જોઈએ નહીં. પથ્થરનું પ્લેટફોર્મ બનાવવાના બદલે ખૂબ નાનું લાકડાનું હળવા વજનનું ટેબલ રાખવામાં આવે તો પણ પૂરતું છે.

ભગવાનની મૂર્તિઓનું મુખ પશ્ચિમ દિશામાં હોય અને રહેવાસીનું મુખ પૂર્વ દિશામાં હોય, તે સારું ગણવામાં આવે છે.

બીજો શ્રેષ્ઠ વિકલ્પ પૂજાની મૂર્તિઓનું મુખ પૂર્વ તરફ હોય અને રહેવાસીનું મુખ પશ્ચિમ તરફ રહે તે ગણી શકાય.

રસોડુ

રસોડા માટે શ્રેષ્ઠ સ્થાન દક્ષિણ-પૂર્વ દિશા ગણવામાં આવે છે.

કોઈપણ કિસ્સામાં રસોડુ ઘરના ઉત્તર-પૂર્વ ખૂણામાં ના હોવું જોઈએ.

જો ઘરમાં ઉત્તર-પૂર્વ ખૂણામાં રસોડુ હોય તો, ખર્ચા ખૂબ વધે છે, દંપતિઓમાં સુમેળ રહેતો નથી અને અન્ય પારિવારિક તણાવો પણ સામાન્યપણે ચાલુ રહે છે.

જો કોઈપણ કારણથી દક્ષિણ-પૂર્વ ખૂણો રસોડુ બનાવવા માટે ઉપલબ્ધ ના હોય તો, બીજો શ્રેષ્ઠ વિકલ્પ ઉત્તર-પશ્ચિમ ગણી શકાય. બીજા વિકલ્પમાં, સ્ટવ પૂર્વ દિશામાં રાખવો જોઈએ જેથી પૂર્વ દિશામાં મુખ રાખીને રસોઈ બનાવી શકાય.

ઉત્તર-પશ્ચિમ દિશામાં આવેલા રસોડામાં, જો સ્ટવ રસોડાના દક્ષિણ-પૂર્વ ખૂણામાં ના રાખી શકાય તો રસોઈ કરતી વખતે મુખ પશ્ચિમ દિશામાં રહે તે પ્રમાણે રાખવામાં આવે તે પણ બીજો શ્રેષ્ઠ વિકલ્પ છે.

રસોડાનું પ્લેટફોર્મ ક્યારેય ઉત્તર દિશામાં ના હોવું જોઈએ. રસોઈ બનાવવા માટે, જ્યારે ચહેરો ઉત્તર દિશામાં હોય તે હાનિકારક માનવામાં આવે છે. જો રસોડાનું પ્લેટફોર્મ પશ્ચિમ તરફી દિવાલે હોય તો, ઉત્તર-પશ્ચિમ ખૂણો ખાલી રાખવો જોઈએ.

દક્ષિણ-પૂર્વ દિશામાં બનાવેલા રસોડામાં પ્લેટફોર્મ પૂર્વ તરફ બનાવેલું હોવું જોઈએ. જો વધુ જરૂર હોય તો તેને દક્ષિણ અને પશ્ચિમ દિશામાં લંબાવી શકાય છે. પ્લેટફોર્મને ક્યારેય ઉત્તર તરફ ના બાંધવું જોઈએ.

બેડરૂમ

સામાન્યપણે, માસ્ટર બેડરૂમ દક્ષિણ-પશ્ચિમ દિશામાં હોવો જોઈએ. દક્ષિણ-પશ્ચિમ દિશામાં બેડરૂમ રાખવાથી તે ખૂણો ભારે બની જાય છે અને ઉત્તર-પૂર્વ દિશા તરફ વધુ હિલચાલ રહે છે જે ત્યાં રહેનારી વ્યક્તિને શાંતિ મેળવવા માટે ખૂબ જ મદદરૂપ છે.

અમારા મતાનુસર જો રહેઠાણની તમામ મિલકત સંતુલનની એકતરફ હોય તો, બેડરૂમનું વાસ્તુ બીજી તરફ છે. કોઈપણ વ્યક્તિ તેમના બેડરૂમમાં ઘણો સમય વિતાવે છે. કોઈપણ વ્યક્તિ તેમના જીવનનો ઘણો સમય કોઈ ચોક્કસ જગ્યાએ વિતાવે ત્યારે ત્યાંનું વાસ્તુ તેમના જીવન પર સૌથી વધારે પ્રભાવ પાડે છે.

જો દક્ષિણ-પશ્ચિમ દિશામાં સ્ટોર રૂમ હોય અને માસ્ટર બેડરૂમ પશ્ચિમ અથવા દક્ષિણ દિશામાં હોય તો તેનાથી પણ સારું પરિણામ મળી શકે છે.

દક્ષિણ-પૂર્વ દિશામાં માસ્ટર બેડરૂમ સારો માનવામાં આવતો નથી. તેના કારણે માસ્ટર એટલે કે ઘરની મુખ્ય વ્યક્તિની શક્તિ ખૂબ જ ખર્ચાઈ જાય છે. તેના કારણે હંમેશા તણાવ સહિતની ઘણી સમસ્યાઓ ઉભી થાય છે.

ઉત્તર-પશ્ચિમ દિશામાં માસ્ટર બેડરૂમની પણ ભલામણ કરવામાં આવતી નથી.

ઉત્તર-પૂર્વ દિશામાં બેડરૂમ યોગ્ય નથી. (આ મુદ્દાઓ કેટલાક દેશો માટે લાગુ પડતા નથી)

સ્ટોરરૂમ

સ્ટોરરૂમ માટે દક્ષિણ-પશ્ચિમ સૌથી શ્રેષ્ઠ સ્થાન ગણવામાં આવે છે. જો આ શક્ય ના હોય તો અન્ય વિકલ્પ તરીકે પશ્ચિમ અથવા દક્ષિણ દિશા ઉત્તમ છે.

પ્રવેશ દ્વાર ઉત્તર-પૂર્વ દિશામાં હોવો જોઈએ.

જો સ્ટોર રૂમ ઘરના તદ્દન દક્ષિણ-પશ્ચિમ ખૂણામાં હોય તો, ઘરના બાકીના તળીયાની તુલનાએ તેનું તળીયું થોડું ઊંચુ રાખવું ઉત્તમ ગણાય છે.

ઉત્તર-પૂર્વમાં સ્ટોર રૂમ શુભ ગણાતો નથી.

કોઈ કોઈપણ કારણથી ઉત્તર-પૂર્વ દિશામાં જ સ્ટોર રૂમ બનાવવો પડે તો, ઘરના બાકીના તળીયાની તુલનાએ સ્ટોર રૂમનું તળીયું સહેજ નીચુ રાખવું જોઈએ (લગભગ 2 ફૂટ અથવા તેનાથી વધુ નીચુ રાખવું જોઈએ કારણ કે તમે ત્યાં કોઈપણ ભારે વસ્તુ મૂકો ત્યારે તે ઘરના બાકીના તળીયા કરતા ઉપર ના આવી જાય, આ ઉપરાંત ઉત્તર-પૂર્વ દિશામાં સ્ટોર રૂમ હોય તો ત્યાં મોટી બારી પણ રાખવી).

જો દક્ષિણ-પશ્ચિમ દિશામાં સ્ટોર રૂમ રાખ્યો હોય તો, બેશકપણે ત્યાં બારી ના રાખવી જોઈએ, ત્યાં હવાની યોગ્ય અવરજવર માટે તમે વેન્ટિલેટર્સનો ઉપયોગ કરી શકો છો. સામાન્યપણે, બારીની તુલનાએ વેન્ટિલેટર્સ નાના કદના હોય છે.

ડાઈનિંગ રૂમ

પ્રાચીન સમયમાં, રસોડુ અને ડાઈનિંગ રૂમ મોટાભાગે એક જ રાખવામાં આવતા. જોકે, વર્તમાન સમયમાં, આ બંને જગ્યાઓ સંપૂર્ણ અલગ રાખવામાં આવે છે.

શક્ય હોય ત્યાં સુધી બંને એકબીજાની નજીક જ રાખવા જોઈએ. સામાન્યપણે, જો ઘર વાસ્તુ અનુસાર બનાવેલું હોય તો, રસોડુ ઘરની દક્ષિણ-પૂર્વ દિશામાં જ હશે. આવા કિસ્સામાં, ડાઈનિંગ રૂમ પણ દક્ષિણ-પૂર્વ ખૂણામાં હશે. આવી સ્થિતિમાં, જો ડાઈનિંગ ટેબલ અથવા જમવા બેસવાની જગ્યા ડાઈનિંગ હોલની દક્ષિણ-પશ્ચિમ દિશામાં હોય તો શ્રેષ્ઠ ગણાય.

પૂર્વ દિશામાં મોં રાખીને ભોજન લેવું ઉત્તમ ગણાય છે.

રહેવાસી પૂર્વ દિશામાં ડાઈનિંગ રૂમ બનાવવાનું આયોજન કરી શકે છે.

દક્ષિણ દિશા પણ સ્વીકારણ માનવામાં આવે છે.

દક્ષિણ-પશ્ચિમ દિશા શુભ ગણવામાં આવતી નથી.

કેટલીક સ્થિતિમાં અમુક હદ સુધી ઉત્તર-પશ્ચિમ દિશાને સ્વીકારવામાં આવે છે.

ટોઈલેટ

સમાજ ધીમે ધીમે ઉન્નત થઈ રહ્યો છે. આવી સ્થિતિમાં, એક સમયે ટોઈલેટને ઘરની બહાર રાખવામાં આવતા હતા તે ઘરનો જ એક હિસ્સો બની ગયા છે.

વાસ્તુ શાસ્ત્રમાં આ બાબતને ધ્યાનમાં રાખીને ઊંડો અભ્યાસ કરવામાં આવ્યો છે અને તેના માટે યોગ્ય નિરાકરણ શોધવામાં આવ્યું છે. ટોઈલેટનો દરવાજો અંદરની બાજુ ખુલવો જોઈએ તે સાચી વાત છે.

આવી જગ્યાએ કોઈપણ દિશામાંથી ગટરનું પાણી બહાર વહેતુ ના હોવું જોઈએ. તે વાસ્તુ અનુસાર તૈયાર કરેલી પેટર્નમાં વહેતું હોવું જોઈએ.

ઘરમાં ક્યાંય પણ ઢોળાવ (ખાડો) ના હોવ જોઈએ અને ચોક્કસપણે દક્ષિણ-પશ્ચિમ વિસ્તારમાં ના જ હોવો જોઈએ. આ કારણે જ ટોઈલેટને દક્ષિણ-પશ્ચિમ દિશામાં રાખવાની સલાહ આપવામાં આવતી નથી.

ઉત્તર-પૂર્વ દિશામાં ટોઈલેટ સારું ગણાતું નથી.

દક્ષિણ-પશ્ચિમ દિશામાં ટોઈલેટ સારું ગણાતું નથી.

દક્ષિણ-પૂર્વ દિશામાં ટોઈલેટ સારું ગણાય છે.

ઉત્તર-પશ્ચિમ દિશામાં ટોઈલેટ સૌથી શ્રેષ્ઠ ગણાય છે.

પાણીની ટાંકી

જુના જમાનામાં આખા સમુદાય માટે એક કે બે કુવાનો ઉપયોગ કરવામાં આવતો હતો. ધીમે ધીમે કુવાનું ચલણ બંધ થયું અને બોરવેલ બનતા ગયા.

પાણીનો સંગ્રહ કરવા માટે તાંબા અથવા પિત્તળના વાસણોનો ઉપયોગ થતો હતો. આવા વાસણોમાં પાણીનો સંગ્રહ કરવાની ભલામણ કરવામાં આવતી હતી કારણ કે તે વાસણોમાં બેક્ટેરિયાનો નાશ થતો જેથી પાણી પીવા માટે સલામત ગણવામાં આવતું હતું.

વાસ્તુ વિજ્ઞાન અનુસાર, ઉત્તર-પૂર્વ દિશા બોરવેલ અથવા પાણીની ટાંકી માટે સૌથી યોગ્ય માનવામાં આવે છે. અર્થાત્ તે પૂર્વીય ઉત્તર-પૂર્વ અથવા ઉત્તરીય ઉત્તર-પૂર્વ જગ્યાએ હોવું જોઈએ.

તે પછી, જો ઉપર દર્શાવેલી સ્થિતિ શક્ય ના હોય તો, અન્ય વિકલ્પ તરીકે પૂર્વ દિશા સૌથી ઉત્તમ ગણી શકાય અથવા ઉત્તર દિશા પણ સારી ગણવામાં આવે છે.

ઉત્તર-પશ્ચિમ દિશામાં પાણીની ટાંકી રાખવાથી સારું પરિણામ મળતું નથી.

દક્ષિણ-પૂર્વ દિશામાં પણ પાણીની ટાંકી રાખવાથી સારું પરિણામ મળતું નથી.

દક્ષિણ દિશામાં પાણની ટાંકી બનાવવાથી આર્થિક અને સ્વાસ્થ્યને લગતી સંખ્યાબંધ સમસ્યાઓ થાય છે.

પશ્ચિમ દિશામાં પાણની ટાંકી રાખવાથી ત્યાં રહેનારી વ્યક્તિ મોટાભાગે નિઃસહાય સ્થિતિમાં રહે છે.

દક્ષિણ-પશ્ચિમ દિશામાં પાણની ટાંકી સૌથી ખરાબ માનવામાં આવે છે.

ભોંયતળીયામાં ઊંચુ અને નીચુ સ્તર

ઘરની બહાર જમીનની ભૂગોળ (જે તમારી પ્રોપર્ટી ના પણ હોય) પણ તમારી પ્રોપર્ટી પર અસર કરે છે.

ઉદાહરણ તરીકે: જો દક્ષિણ-પશ્ચિમ દિશામાં પર્વત અથવા ટેકરી હોય અને ઉત્તર-પૂર્વ દિશા તરફ તળાવ હોય તો તેનાથી ખૂબ જ મોટો લાભ થાય છે.

જો દક્ષિણ તરફની જમીન દબાયેલી (નીચી) હોય તો આર્થિક અને સ્વાસ્થ્યની બાબતો પણ ખૂબ જ અસર પડે છે. જો દક્ષિણ તરફની જમીન ઊંચી હોય તો ખૂબ કમાણી થાય છે અને તંદુરસ્તી સારી રહે છે.

પશ્ચિમનું ભોંયતળીયું દબાયેલું (નીચુ) હોય તો ત્યાં રહેનારી વ્યક્તિને તંદુરસ્તી સારી નથી રહેતી અને અન્ય ઘણી સમસ્યાઓ થાય છે.

જો ઉત્તરની જમીન દબાયેલી (નીચી) હોય તો સ્વાસ્થ્ય અને આર્થિક બાબતે ખૂબ જ ઉત્તમ માનવામાં આવે છે.

પૂર્વ દિશાનું તળીયું દબાયેલું (નીચું) હોય તો કેટલીક બાબતોમાં ખૂબ મદદરૂપ થાય છે.

ગંદા પાણીનો ખાડો

ટોઈલેટનો ખાડો (કમોડ) હંમેશા ઉત્તર અથવા પૂર્વ દિશામાં હોવો જોઈએ.

ટોઈલેટનો ખાડો (કમોડ) ક્યારેય પશ્ચિમ, દક્ષિણ અને દક્ષિણ-પશ્ચિમ તરફ ના હોવો જોઈએ. જો દક્ષિણ દિશા તરફ ખાડો હોય તો આર્થિક નુકસાન થાય છે અને ઘરમાં મહિલાઓને સ્વાસ્થ્ય સારું રહેતું નથી, વ્યવસાયમાં દુર્ભાગ્ય અનુભવાય છે, સતત અસુરક્ષાનો અહેસાસ થાય છે, તંદુરસ્તી બગડવા જેવી સમસ્યાઓ સતત ચાલુ રહે છે.

ઉત્તર-પૂર્વમાં એંઠવાડની ટાંકી હોય તેવા ઘરોમાં સ્વાસ્થ્ય બગડવાની સમસ્યા ખૂબ સામાન્યપણે હોય છે.

એંઠવાડની ટાંકી માટે દક્ષિણ-પશ્ચિમ દિશા સંપૂર્ણપણે ટાળવી જોઈએ.

જો વાસ્તુ અનુસાર ઘર ન બનાવેલું હોય તો, આસપાસના બાહ્ય માહોલની વિપરિત અસર પણ અવગણી શકાય નહીં.
