South, North, West Direction and East direction gates and doors of the building are perpendicular according to the compass needle then it is good.

Some people say that the West facing and South facing houses are inauspicious, this statement may not be the right. All the four directional facing plots or sites are good. But we have to build the House according to Vaastu. Keeping doors in right place will always bring luck to the residents.

All plots or sites may not be according to 90 degrees, some may have 15 degrees and some may have 345 degrees or -15 degrees etc. After crossing this number one should be careful in placing the door. Up to 17 degrees either + or -, we may not observe radical changes in Vastu Results. Once the plot or site may have 20 or 25 then we may observe some changes in results. If the site may have 20 degrees then Northeast doors may have the prominent role in bringing good results than the directional doors i.e., East, West, North, South etc.

Some plots are non directional or Skewed one, like +45 or -45 etc. At this moment the road may be called as Northeast road, Southeast road, Northwest road, Southwest road etc. Then the house may called as Northeast facing house, Southeast Facing Home, Northwest Facing Home, and Southwest facing home etc. Keeping the main door or taking the decision in keeping the main entrance door is always playing a vital role here. In skewed properties measurements of the plot is exercising the influence of entire control of the site. At this moment residents should not take any decision without Vastu Consultant. Otherwise, they may be suffering from different problems.

As the requirement of man is heavier/broader in these days now there are swinging and sliding doors were occupied in much percentage of the houses or properties now. If the house is exactly 90 degrees then you may plan for East door, but best to move towards Northeast of East as much as possible.

In East facing house the door (Simhadwara in Uttachastana) should be placed at Northeast corner, this is the best suitable place, East entrance door is the best, but better to have suggestions from experienced vastu consultant when you decided to plan the door towards East direction, please note that the door should not cross even one millimeter towards Southeast direction. Generally, residents may not calculate or exact figure out the same, at this moment the Vastu Pandit can easily mark the place where you have to place the door.

In South facing home the door (Simhadwara or Uttachstana) may be placed at Southern Southeast corner, maybe this is the suitable place, but South door is also recommended, get necessary recommendations or suggestions from one experienced Vastu Expert in this regard.

While coming to West facing house the door (Simhadwara or Uttachstana) should be placed at Western Northwest corner, this is suitable place and West door is also recommended, here don't forget to get suggestions from one experienced Vastu consultant, this is safe idea. This idea brings peace in residents future.

The entrance for a South West room should always be placed in the North-East, either it may be towards Northern Northeast or Eastern Northeast.

Southwest room should not have three doors to go inside of the home and outside of the home. It may damage your life standardness. But this 3 doors word is not related to the toilet or bathroom.

The doors should be in the Northeast. When someone enters through the door, the waves emerging from the doors affect his mind with the magnetic waves always flow around us. If possible some painting or window should be opposite to each door for air flow.

North side house Neechasthana door is at Northwest in North: People moving through this door will not have mental stability and they might fall prey to bad habits, debts, court cases, saint philosophy.
